Wearing dance shoes off of the dance floor
can ruin them for dancing. So, usually tango dancers get more then
one pair one with suede and one with leather sole adapting and
matching the right shoes to the right dress, occasion and floor
type.

Dancing shoes are lightweight
and better constructed to support the pounding and maneuvers a
dancer gives to them. The soles may be customized to flexible suede
leather, otherwise grated shiny soles.The heels have medium to thick
in thickness for better balance. Dancing shoes can also be used for
street shoes as long as they don’t have suede sole which wears
faster on non flat wooden floors.
